Slate has a good article reviewing the legal history of sodomy. Hint: it didn't always mean what Jerry Falwell *thinks* it means.

Oh, and in local news, Victoria's Secret at Bellevue Square lost 300 pairs of panties to theft - about $5000 worth - on Sunday.
