I sit at the kitchen table, with wonderful cool air coming in through the window.

Yellow roses sit on the table near the laptop and a swatch for a possible curtain fabric I found today at Ben Franklin's. I also got the Trading Spaces book and some blue glass-like chunks (they're acyrlic; not as cool as glass, but neat looking, and light enough that I'm happy filling up a Baccarat vase with them).

I've got egg salad in the fridge so we can have a nice cool supper tomorrow. We're going to get some fresh veggies to go with. Perhaps some tomato juice make gazpacho? Two fans have been running in the bedroom - with the window open - since 8pm, so it's (hopefully) cooled down a bit up there as well. If remodeling IRL was as easy as in The Sims, I'd have already shifted our closet to the inside wall and added a window to the outside wall of our bedroom to facilitate a crossbreeze. Ah well.

RL is much nicer.

Jesse took me out to brunch this morning. Tomorrow is dim sum with

byrdie and

kimberly_a and

cindygerb and

wolfieboy, which I hope won't be too hot. But for now....bed.
