Seattle Art Museum (downtown) and Seattle Asian Art Museum (Volunteer Park) aren't too expensive - $7-10, and they often do two-fers if you go to both museums. Closed Mondays. http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/
The Conservatory in Volunteer Park is beautiful, and they just ask a donation.

The Center's a possibility. Lunch in the Needle is cheaper than dinner and usually has a great view. Valet parking, so you don't have to walk to the Needle from the various parking lots. OR, park at Westlake Mall and take the Monorail.

The Harbor cruise. It's not too far from the Aquarium and lots of shops & restaurants. It's also not too far from the Market, though if someone doesn't like walking they might not want drive up the hill. http://www.argosycruises.com/publiccruises/harbor.htm

If you want to shop, BellSquare is the place. OR, downtown, there's (in order:) The Bon's flagship, 4th Ave, Westlake Mall, 5th Ave, Nordstrom's flagship, 6th Ave, Pacfic Place. If it's raining, there's a skybridge from PP to Nordy, and the bus tunnel lets you go from Nordy to Westlake or The Bon. Note further that if you walk a few blocks west from The Bon you'll find the Market.
