Last night I brought the coffepot up to my office. Since ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jw1776 and canacat don't drink it, I figured they wouldn't mind. And, it would make it convenient, so that perhaps I would actually drink the several pounds of coffee I've got in the cupboard. I even set it up with the timer so I'd have coffee when I sat down to write (yes, I'm writing again).
It turned out the shelving unit it sits on top of is slightly tipped, so 1/3 of the coffee spilled out the back and down the freshly painted wall.
And when I pulleed the pot out to investigate, it did like it was supposed to and stopped dripping. Only, now it WON'T START again, so about 1/3 of the coffee is yet to drip.
Growl.
I think I'm going to junk this coffeemaker and get myself a french press & a plug-in teakettle. That way I can have coffee or tea, and in a less messy way....
