Where I buy clothes

I told
cflute I'd do this Saturday. Eep.
Making It Big. Catalog. Mostly natural fiber clothing, both in plus and supersize, and they make pants in petite, regular, and tall. It's where I get the "relaxed knit" pants I wear most days; (for those who saw Gaia Consort at SoulFood, the red dress I wore is from MIB).
Junonia. Catalog. Specializes in "active clothing for big women", both plus and supersize. If you want a tennis skirt, ski pants, zip-leg convertible pants, or other sports clothing most stores assume fat people won't need, check out Junonia. OTOH, the fit has been hit or miss for me.
Love Your Peaches. Catalog. I don't get much here, but when I do it's usually velvet, like the shirt I'm wearing in this icon. Both plus and supersize.
Both Junonia and Peaches carry lots of swimwear, and sell tops and bottoms separately. This is brilliant for those who are a different size on top than bottom.
Silhouettes is another catalog with plus and supersize clothing. It's also one where I've had many more misses than hits. But I occasionally pick up a sweater of theirs, and recently I've gotten jeans there.
Zaftique. Catalog. Stylish stuff for plus and supersize women that shows off curves; lots of velvet, lace, and goth styles.
Catherines is a chain and catalog with plus and supersize clothing. I have gotten some good stuff there, like my blue reversible jacket and my red drawstring pants - but much of their stuff is too cutsy.
Edited to add: Holy Clothing. Catalog. Romantic and goth stuff to size 5x. I've only gotten one thing from them, so I didn't think to add them, but it was the "celtic butterfly" dress I was wearing at Alec Adams' show Saturday. Only mine is in black.
Lane Bryant and Avenue: good for underwear, some bras, and some tops, but not many.
