jw1776 spotted this on the way home from our little jaunt. A truck appeared to have started falling into the ravine behind the apartment complex on the corner of 166th & 95th. (Yes that ravine is also behind

dianthus' "Hobbit Hole" apartment.) It appeared empty and stable, but, um, kinda wonder if maybe they'll be installing a railing back there?

Of course before we could go anywhere we had to clear the snow off of vehicles. This shows

skydancer's Escape. We all loaded into the Escape and headed into "downtown Redmond" for lunch at Canyon's.

(I always find "downtown Redmond" to be a bit of a strange term since it's got a small-town, 1-or-2 story, lots-of-strip-malls feel. Compared to Seattle or even Bellevue there isn't much there there. At the same time, I've lived here long enough that I'll say "downtown" meaning Redmond and then have to clarify to people who assume "downtown" without modifiers is downtown Seattle, just like "the U" without modifiers is the University of Washington...)

Then we headed across the parking lot to QFC to pick up a few miscellaneous things like bananas and Tylenol before going back home.
