Apparently some English speakers do not prounounce 'cot' and 'caught' the same way. It's a "Northwest thing" - we've stopped using the 'au' vowel sound. At least, that's according to a UW linguist's paper, summarized in ze local rag....
Jeff on Claudia Schiffer & David Copperfield: "There's a supermodel who shags total prats and I don't know where she lives!"
