Jul. 5th, 2019 06:17 pmI'm still figuring out how things work without a job to orient my life around. The last time I was unemployed I didn't need to sleep as much and could walk faster/farther. Now walking faster than a slooow stroooll means I end up breathless. Figuring out routines is weird. And...I do have a big case of blahs. Some is probably from letting go of work habits, some is the Unknown.
I did sign up for COBRA and I've started an online class on freelance writing pitches etc. I'm also ending some of my procrastination of dealing with medical crap - saw the ARNP June 12 for a physical, blood thinner check on June 26, and then saw the pulmonologist on July 3rd about how I'm not fully recovered from the PE. I also see a new gyn on July 10th. All of the medical stuff is somewhat stressful.
The good part - which I realized when the ARNP asked about knee pain - is that the shorter steps I've been training myself to take do not hurt my knees. The smaller steps also result in me walking slower, which was the main point of doing them. I'm sure the arthritis is still THERE, but it's having less effect. It's an upside but one I'd rather not need.
