Newish schedule

One of the things with being a student is that your schedule changes every few months. Okay, I'm not taking classes this quarter, but still, that makes my schedule different from last quarter. Plus, I am teaching a class this quarter, so there's prep work, grading, and teaching once a week. I've got a couple web design clients, so I'm scheduling client meetings and getting design / coding / research work done. Add time with friends, volunteer work and usenet - the calendar can get a mite crowded after a while!

My darling hubby (DH) doesn't mind the stuff in the schedule, he just wishes I'd go to bed earlier. And get up earlier. He's a morning person - raised on a farm. I'm not. Tonight I got home at 10:15, totally wired from my class. I chatted with him, some friends, had some kitty time, read news, did email, read cartoons, even slipped some Godiva liqueur in my cocoa. I'm still wired.

Meanwhile, DH is thinking about running for Congress. He's been Libertarian county chair and run for several other offices before. Political wife? Me?

Well, I *knew* I was a geek, but...

I did eventually get to sleep around 9am. Got up around 1:30 & spent the day playing Tropico, chatting with friends, and sketching out a design for the guestbook & picture gallery I'm going to write.

I must stop this whirligig of fun before I faint. :)

DH & I went over to dianthus' for dinner & Buffy. I'd neglected to tape the episode where she turned invisible, so we taped it as we watched it on dianthus' tivo. Personally I think Buffy's depression is a bigger problem than Buffy having sex with Spike, but that's me.

We also watched this week's Angel. I knew what the ending would be the moment Cordy's guide showed up, but it did take a different route to getting there than I would have expected. DH somehow managed to get me to kinda watch Enterprise...kinda being that I was busy snuggling with dianthus at the time. dianthus' real snuggly. :)

Hopefully I'll be able to get to sleep early tonight since DH has a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning!
