quarter to 4 already?

The main thing I got done today was scrubbing down the guest/kitty's bathroom. The mirror & vanity were easy. The floor? Well, the beautiful darling has a tendency to get her litter over everything, so the floor took some work. But it's been swept & scrubbed. The floor is now white with green diamonds (not gray with gray-green diamonds) and contrasts nicely with the teal-tiled vanity. I also got the blue oblong rug back in there & a black circle rug I just got at Ikea. The shower curtain in there is blues in a granite-like pattern with purple & fuschia streaks, so this all works well together.

I also (finally!) hung the curtains in the main bath. A small thing, yes, but the white curtains set off the pale blue of the walls and the green of the plants. Also, the curtains absorb sound so it doesn't echo as much in there now (the main bath has a glass-enclosed shower, so no shower curtain).

Other than that, I talked with Kim about baby Kira & 4th of July plans, re-read Comic Relief, watched Trading Spaces, went for a walk, setup instant messaging (jenk_98005 on yahoo or jenkilmer on msn) and did some meditating. And slept in til 1pm or so. Actually the counselor says that some of the sleeping I'm doing is a deep meditation, especially after a session. That's why I can sleep several hours after a session & wake up feeling more focused but not exactly rested...and then sleep my usual 9-10 hours that night. And friday's session was pretty long. Good, but long & tiring.

Ah, the excitement that is my life... :)

I wish this were a hoax

Apparently the Internet is so threatening to China's government that Internet Cafes go underground. Unfortunately, locked doors & secrecy are a problem if there's a fire.
