Garden notes

weemallard said, it's handy to have a reference of what's blooming. Right now: purple rhody on the e by n side of the backyard, white azealea on the front walkway, yellow azealea & pink rhody on the n side of the backyard, pink rose on the S side, and yellow & pink potted rosebushes.
Already bloomed in the front yard: purple & white azealeas.
I started some basil from seed in the kitchen, and planted some garlic cloves that had sprouted on me between the Jesse's potato mounds.
Lunch withbyrdie yesterday. Loaned her At Home With Books and a copy of Keepers of the Flame. Also gave her the copy of Life's Flame that Jesse & I got for her at Heather's St Pat's Day show. I finally remembered where I'd put The Not-So-Big House after I got home...gee, guess I'll have to get together with her soon ;)
Tonight is Jim's party. Now I'm going to see a friend who's moving and help carry & unpack...
