Day after Cana died, we got Cana's license renewal notice from the county.

I tossed it.

Later I remembered someone from Animal Control stopping by last year asking if we still have our dog. I replied that we've never had a dog. He asked if I was Mrs Clarkson? I said no, they moved. Cana came over to inspect the visitor.

So I guess we may have a visitor in a few months asking if we still have our cat. "Sure, she's buried over there..."

Ok, to me it's vaguely funny. Beats thinking about her at the vet's and crying (again).
