Wow....Garry Trudeau blows me away.

In 2004 GB Trudeau finally showed B.D. without his helmet. We also found that B.D. had lost his leg while serving in Iraq. Trudeau was awarded the US Army's Commander's Award for Public Service in 2006 for his series on B.D.'s recovery.

This week the strip is revisiting the circumstances about how B.D. lost his leg. Thursday's strip is a cliffhanger. ( image here )
