REMINDER: Register to vote!

If you're not already registered to vote in the upcoming election, I would strongly encourage you to do so....

For Washington State:

• It's too late to register by mail, BUT
  
• You CAN still register at your county elections department before Friday, October 23.
  
• The date of the Primary Election is Tuesday, November 7.

Update: hollyking noted that Oct 23rd is a monday. So much for cut-and-pasting from the elections website....

On the registrations page it says, " If you are not already registered to vote in Washington and you miss the 30-day deadline, you can register in person at your county elections department until 15 days before the election." So 15 days before Tuesday the 7th would be Monday the 23rd...but I'd plan to visit the county elections office by this Friday, the 20th, just to be safe.

   Failing to vote will incur a fine. Not labeled as such, no. But the IRS has to build an audit list somehow, right?
   
   
4. If your favorite fruit or vegetable from #2 was the star of a horror movie, would it be the killer or the victim, and how would it die/kill?
   
   The acidity level of some oranges would be so toxic it would burn the hands of everyone who tried to eat them. Except me. ;)
