I've been wearing longer sleeves this summer in an attempt to avoid sunburn1. Not all to the wrists, mind, but covering the shoulders and upper arms.
Today I noticed the white-on-white embroidered long-sleeved blouse I used to wear to church. Put it on, tuck it in, good to go.
Walking to the bus stop I realize I'm missing the button at the waistband. Oops. Oh well, at least it is tucked in.
On the second bus I discover I somehow spilled coffee near the waistband. And that the 2nd button is also missing. Wow, maybe the missing buttons are why I quit wearing it? I think I have at least one of the mother-of-pearl buttons at home. I could certainly move the top button (which I never use) down to one of the other slots. I think I have a sewing kit at the office, and a Tide-to-Go
jw1776 got me for the coffee stain....
Check my little sewing kit at the office ... no white thread. But yes, the coffee stain is gone. At least, the morning stain is gone. I'm about to have lunch. Eep.
1I've also discovered that while Aveeno's sunblock irritates my skin less than normal sunblock, Aveeno Baby irritates it not at all. Whee!

- 09:31 Saw a 'coming soon' sign for Top Pot in Bellevue. Is 'eastside branch' still Seattle for 'sellout'? :)
- 20:58 What it would take to actually become Batman. Fascinating. tinyurl.com/562s9w
- 21:21 Moon Pies in Kirkland? I am surprised.
- 21:25 Things I miss when I drive: Lavender seems to be a popular plant in Redmond this year.
