That's a quote from this story about people who used to celebrate Christmas* deciding to either skip or change their Christmas traditions.
It's one I agree with. I haven't bothered with a tree in over 15 years. Some years I do cards. Some I don't.
Note, it's not about hating Christmas. It's about celebrating in a way that makes sense for me. This year there aren't many gifts, partly because money is tight for many folks this year. That's okay. There will be fun and laughter and enjoyment, and that's the biggest deal for me. :)
Whether you do celebrate or not, I hope you have an good couple of days and let go of some stress.
