aaaaaarrrrrghhhh
Jan. 19th, 2002 11:06 am"Jen! Your husband slipped and fell! But he's alright".
Not the greeting I wanted, especially since DH already has a chronic back problem (scar tissue from a sports injury). DH showed up, regaling the crowd with how he did two 360-degree spins.
I start to hyperventilate.
I end up sitting in a chair a bit away from the crowd. I'm not sure how long I was there. Eventually one of my hosts made a joke about DH and broke the spell. After a few minutes of laughing and crying I was able to rejoin the group.
And I found our an hour later that he hadn't fallen. He'd slipped, he'd nearly fell, and he ended up doing two pirouettes before he could get his balance. But I still didn't get to sleep until 2. Sigh.
