Another class series begins this coming Wednesday, April 21st, as you may know. In fact, some of you are already signed up for it (so please disregard this message).

This class, led jointly by Carter Mears and Robert Taylor, will meet for six weeks, beginning Wednesday, April 21 and going through May 26th.

During those six weeks we will have an opportunity to explore the thought provoking writing of William Countryman in his book Living on the Border of the Holy. This book offers a way of understanding the priesthood of the whole people of God and of the ordained by showing how both are rooted in the fundamental priestly nature of human life.

[...] As usual, you can come for the class, or to dinner at 5:30 (cost: $5.00) and Evensong at 6:30. The class will be from 7:15 - 8:45 in Bloedel. Hope to see some of you there in our continuing formation as God's people in the world.
The class is in Seattle, but anyone might want to check out the excerpt of the book on Amazon. It looks rather interesting.

For those in Seattle who might be interested in the class, Bloedel is the auditorium in the basement of St Mark's. I recommend entering Bloedel from the West side of the building, where it's on the ground floor. Or you can go in the front door, find some stairs, and enjoy a maze of twisty passages that all look mostly alike.
