In other reading today, The NY Times says that Intelligent Design isn't attracting researchers. Hm. Offhand, I'm not sure what they'd research per se. The Times also quotes from a how-to guide on having a family member head off to war. (The guide is available as a PDF here.) And they explain the connection between Mickey Mouse, Saddam Hussein, Dick Cheney and Mount St Helens.
Back home there's few notes on the art of self-promotion. Former Police Chief Norm Stamper comes out swinging for drug legalization. And Aziz Junejo discusses some of the common ground shared by Islam, Christianity & Judaism. (But shouldn't he have used "children of a common mother"? Right, that's the Peace Arch...)
