January: Goethe taught, "Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he can and should be and he will become as he can and should be."
My sarcastic side notes this requires an opinion about how others can and should be. My realistic side notes that in some cases (manners, common sense) we tend expect others to act accordingly anyway - or at least we bitch mightily when they don't.
February: Someone mentioned they'd been talking about blogging. I thought one was supposed to blog about blogging. :)
March: Quark's bar. One can find a more wretched hive of scum & villainy but why?
April: Yes, Virgle, as in, "Google and Virgin announce Mars expedition and colony".

July: Things I notice when I don't drive: The man riding a mower at city hall (with ear protection) stops the mower as pedestrians walk past. My.
August: Watching Coupling with Jesse ... Love how the girls think something is subtle & the guys think its blatant.
September: So the Washington Post reviews this book and its author, Dante Moore, on how women need to get skinny, learn to cook & clean, and dress sexy while they're doing it. The Post also publishes an article on how "the percentage of [Japanese] women who remain single into their 30s has more than doubled since 1980".
October: Sigh. Never tell anyone I've got nothing to do - now I have loads :)
...and not as a direct "Oh, here's something to do"...just Stuff I would do normally.
November: Went to the noon All Saints' service at St Mark's columbarium/chapel. At St Mark's I saw a car the same make, model, year, and color as mine. Different Obama sticker though.
