jenkThanksgiving happened with just Jesse & I; relaxed and low-key. He cooked, I sat in the kitchen chatting and occasionally grabbing an ingredient from the cupboard or fridge.
Media stuff:
There has also been a definite change of TV watching. Less news, more nonfiction doing stuff. Mythbusters, Mighty Trains, How It's Made. Also the 3rd season of My Life Is Murder is out, so we've been coordinating watching it with friends.
Books: I setup Libby to access ebooks via the King County Library System. Recently I read Octavia Butler's Xenogenesis triology, The Collapsing Empire and The Consuming Fire, and a lot of Agatha Christie.

(BTW: Do NOT buy early Christie from Amazon! Many of her early books are public domain, which means YOU can go to Project Gutenberg but ALSO a lot of ebook sellers put up bad versions of early Christie in the Kindle store.)
