jenkLooking into some ESG funds at Vanguard since I don't trust fossil fuel execs not to steal money and run at some point.
ESG = stands for "E nvironmental S ocial and G overnance, and refers to the three key factors when measuring the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a business or company."
At the moment I'm leaning to an index fun that skips fossil fuel stocks. They also exclude alcohol, tobacco, cannabis and weapons.
There IS a fund that only excludes fossil fuels, but it's offered by a startup, so not much track record. Hmmm.
