Rainy April Morning

jenkNothing too untypical about that ;) I made an omelet and applely oatmeal for breakfast, and I'm heating water from some lemon tea.
On second thought, it might not be raining right now - the water I see pouring down is off the bedroom balcony.
One of the rhodies has definitely died. But some of the rosemary is blooming, the mint is coming back, and the roses I brought over from the condo are thriving. I got a shade for the lamp I picked up at a thrift store, so now we have a reading lamp in the library. I dug out the blue tablecloth and it looks nice in the yellow kitchen. I'm back. Dishes are done, tea steeped. Rachel Rachel's ballad "The River" is playing softly, and the windsock is dancing around. I think I'll check out some comics...
