Chili's for here...oops, make that to go

jenkLisa & I met for lunch today. We went to Chili's at Crossroads because neither of us had been there in a while and I had a $10 gift certificate.
Which I didn't use.
We were seated at 12:10. Lisa had to be back at the office by 1:15 or so, so we figured we had 45-50 minutes for lunch - plenty of time.
Only we didn't have a waiter til 12:20.
Or our drinks - water and iced tea - til 12:35.
Or our meal til 12:55, and that was *after* Lisa called over the waiter and the manager about it. They said they were "really busy". Then why were there lots of empty tables? An how long does it take to make a caesar salad sandwich and quesadias?
So I wolfed down my sandwich & Lisa got a to-go box. And the manager didn't charge us for the food.
As we leave the restaurant, Lisa says, "So, are you going to put this in your LJ?"
