The Sims....mmmm...Sims...

*yawn*
Created my third new fam in as many days. What I have done besides the sims? Some writing, some laundry (you can now see the floor by my dresser!), petting the cat, and cleaning out/organizing the car. I now *know* where the asprin, tylenol sinus, sunblock, and earplugs are in the car. Amazing. Oh, and I figured out *who* is doing the embezzling; now I'm debating how complicated to make the hoops my characters have to jump through to figure it out themselves. My characters get to listen to Heather and read Frezza, but they also have to deal with me yanking the rug out from under them regularily.
I also experimented with using the bouncy ball as a weight bench. I lay on it and I can do flies or chest presses. Not bad; just need to make sure my feet has traction so I can get *off* the thing afterward.
Jesse's snoring now. It's a bit different from usual, since he's got his head down at the footboard. Cana's down there too. Her snores make an interesting counterpoint to his.
I've also been getting into some music I haven't listened to in a while. One example is In The Volume Of The Book, which was released in 1976 & is hard to find these days. It's by a trio that started singing "Jesus Music" in the early 70s, before CCM existed as a catagory. Some parts are dated, some aren't. I was blown away by the opening: a brief, sweet, classical-like string piece with three-part vocals starts it off. Then the electric guitars kick in and we've got a rocker for the second song. It's like: you think you know what religious music is like? Oh. Okay. *punch*
