Jesse's making pancakes. Did you know that Bisquick can expire? It's 5 months past the expiration date.

I've suggested he check a cookbook - I know we have the ingredients for pancakes.

Now he says there isn't much Bisquick left, so maybe he'll mix it with the corn muffin mix. Okay....

The Wizard of Oz introduced the Witch of the East, the Witch of the West, and the Witch of the North...now you can learn about the Witch of the South!

You all remember that in the movie "The Wizard of Oz", the wicked witch of the East was killed by the falling house, the witch of the West stalked Dorothy and was killed by water, and Glenda, the Witch of the North helped Dorothy get home. There is no mention of the witch of the South. Here's what she would probably be like:

My apologies to those who couldn't read it before....

weird day

Woke up at 12:30am today. Tried to go back to sleep, quit trying and got up around 2:30am or so.

Surfed a bit, had breakfast, read, took a bath, got back to sleep around 8:30am.

Woke up again about 1:30pm. Chatted with byrdie a bit, ate some lunch, did the dishes, got stuff together to go over to the condo.

At the condo...
Dusted
Scrubbed deck
Cleaned the small table that was on the deck
Cleaned all countertops & tubs
Refilled soap dispensers
Arranged towels, soap, plants, and so on to look inviting
Reset thermostat
Put away all cleaning & painting supplies
Watered (indoor) plants, cleaned out dead leaves
Took out trash
Swept all floors
Scrubbed the bathroom floors
Setup "desk" area in den (small table with tablecloth, pens, paper, chair)
Setup "info" area in kitchen (folders with blueprints, site plan, appliance manuals, condo association info)
Decide which lights to leave on, which to turn off
Set radio to "cool jazz" station at low volume
Lockup

Left the condo at 8:30pm - no Third Place tonight! - and came home. Watched the end of Smallville while opening mail.

Came upstairs at 10pm, read email & LJ.
