Yet another reason why I have no desire to leave the great northwet

WEATHER ADVISORY

It is 17,000 degrees Fahrenheit (that's Bob, not Roger, Fahrenheit) here in Miami, but, to compensate, it is also extremely humid. It is a big old armpit, Miami is, and this blog has no air conditioning. It broke yesterday, and the Big Sweating Truck-Driving Men Who Can Actually Fix Things have been poking at it today, and they just informed this blog that it needs a "new unit," which they hope they can get to on Thursday. So posting on this blog will be increasingly ill-tempered.

I miss my comfy keyboard.
( computer stuff )

I ended up adding 2-3 new pages at the end of the last chapter, but so far it's just editing. I want to hit page 200 or so before the con starts, since I won't be doing any work during the con. Also won't be at the spot this weekend.

Note to self: jw1776 regards mac'n'cheese as 1) noodles, 2) velveeta, 3) sliced hot dogs. When I use up cheddar by making a cheese sauce and mix that with noodles, it's not mac'n'cheese. It's scalloped noodles.

Wish I hadn't been so distracted by computer problems yesterday; Sue stopped by, and I'm not sure I was real coherent while we talked. At least, not the entire time. Talking about our dads was interesting. Between Sue and Third Place yesterday was pretty social.

So, um, back to work...

Oh, and right after I made that last entry, I managed to knock my Anita Blake on coffee mug to the floor and *broke* it.
