jenkI broke my G-string yesterday.
Go to the music store, get a new string. Also pick up a tuner. Today I went to put on the string. Gee, while I'm replacing the string, why not put on the 4-fine-tuner tailpiece? So I take off the E, loosen the D & A, get the new tailpiece on, get A and D somewhat in tune, get the ball off the old G to put on the E, get the E on, get the E somewhat in tune, put on the new G, start to tune it, and...BREAK THE DAMN G STRING AGAIN!
I cannot win.
