jenkHey, I did without LJ for 40 hours....!
I could've brought my laptop - the hotel has free internet access - but I thought it might be Good For Me to not spend our vacation playing computer games. Instead Jesse's been re-teaching me cribbage.
We saw *snow* in Victoria today. Just a few flurries, and for all I know someone was dumping fake snow out the window. For those not in the know, Victoria BC hasn't got below the frost point as long as records exist. For Canada, Victoria's "sunbelt" status is unique.
Now I'm sitting in a cafe that has Springsteen's "Merry Christmas Baby" on the playlist and mochas with Bailey's on the menu. Mmmm....
