feeling accomplished

jenkToday I implemented the last feature for Shawn's website & went through a full test series on it with Nav 4.5 & 6. Then I fixed the bugs I found and tested it again with IE, Nav & Nav. I would now be completely DONE with it, except that he decided to change the domain name. So now we're waiting for DNS to prop so I can set it up on the final location. (For various reasons, my perl code needs to know where things are located - and I can't just use / because I'm testing it fairly deep on my site. So I'll need to reset some variables before it'll work at root.)
Oh, and the other reason I'm not completely DONE is that he told me today that he's decided it'd be faster to have me finesse his images for the site than to do it himself. While this is true, and while I don't mind [being paid] to do it, it does add another item to the to-do list.
I also did a rough excavation of the entryway. One garbage bag & 2 grocery bags of mixed-paper recycling gone and you can actually see the floor now! Next up: tidying the shelves of paperbacks, shelving paperbacks, and dealing away the "give away" pile (anybody want some plastic stacking bins? Or a slightly defective black leather purse? Clear stacking paper tray - the kind that sits on a desk? Anybody?)
Oh, and I managed to talk to all the other board members & the property manager to figure out a date for a special board session we're having. May 21st. Yes, I've written "tape buffy" on the calendar.
