I picked up this book at the Christian Family Store at Totem Lake. Most of their stuff is a bit too ... something for me, but I check it out occasionally just to see what's there. (In brief: ALL the Left Behind books, a huge bookcase of NIV Bibles, another huge bookcase of NASB, KJV & NKJV, VeggieTales, Bibleman, and more Left Behind books.) But I found a little book about 101 ways to enjoy your life that I liked on the sale table, and I'm reading it a page a day. (Note to self: post title & author)
Today's thought, in paraphrase: Take time for the little things. A "please", a "thank you", a "how are you?", a smile. Courtesy is all in the small acts. Take advantage of the chances you have to turn everyday tasks into enjoyable human contact.
