jw1776 woke me up at 10:40am to wish me happy anniversary - it was two years since he proposed. At 10:40am. Happy kisses. Back to sleep.

Checked email when I got up. Finally, a tour schedule! Bruce will be playing Tacoma & Portland Aug 20 & 21. I'm restricting myself to just those two shows on this leg of the tour. Really. I swear. Oh, and jw1776 has consented to be introduced to the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band *live* experience.... :)

Then I spent a few hours obsessing about houses - looking through listings on agency sites and reading tips on selling houses. Basically, I've been going through several realizations, one after another. They include:
a) Decision made - we're going to move to a place with more space
b) So I want it done already
c) Buying a new home is a major deal
d) Fixing this place up to sell is a major fucking deal
e) I've only written 9 pages since July 2nd
f) I committed to finishing this 60,000-word novel by July 31 and I'm only 13,000 words into it
g) Either I finish my novel, which I've committed myself to doing, OR I can obsess over buying a new house, but not both

Counseling session included some of the above.

Meditated.

Wrote an 8-page chapter.

Played Tropico to let my mind veg a bit.

Wrote a 4-page chapter. I'm past 16,000 words now.

Finished my Tropico game.

All in all, not a bad day.
