jenkYesterday was one of those long, wearing days. A friend called shortly after I got home, and I warned him "I just walked in the door and I'm really tired."
Friend: "OK, then, can I just check in about a few things?"
Me: "OK"
So while the friend asked a couple questions, and I answered them, I wandered into the living room and sprawled out on the couch with a sigh.
Friend: "Can I ask one more question, or do you need to go?"
Me: "Oh, you can ask anything. I'm now horizontal and suggestible."
Friend: "Horizontal and suggestible...mmMMmm..."
Me: Realized I'd inadvertently dropped a come-on and started laughing...
(Fortunately I'm feeling much more chipper this morning ;)
