Quote on college graduates vs HS grads

From an article discussing the affects of rising college costs comes a bit about the societal benefits of college graduates:

[C]ollege graduates smoke less, give blood more and volunteer far more frequently than high-school graduates. (They also have far lower rates of incarceration and rely less on government entitlement programs.)

Most of the people I work & socialize with are college grads or have some college. I tend to think we're pretty average. This sort of thing reminds me that maybe the slice of citizenry I interact with isn't necessarily as average as I might assume....
