merry xmas

jenkI'm still here. Also still sick. Currently I'm sticking close to ze humidifier. I have a thermometer/hygrometer in the bedroom. I'd noticed during the power outage that the humidity was hovering above 60%, on the high end of the desired "normal" range. Once we got power again, the humidity went down to 40% or below. I'm wondering if the seesawing humidity might have been part of what threw my body out of balance this time.
Talking with Jesse this morning I realized this is the second time I've been sick this December. Toss in end-of-the-year deadlines and the power outage and it's no wonder I haven't really done anything for xmas. This is NOT a tragedy in and of itself ~ other than being sick during a 4-day weekend ~ but I am feeling upset about not having gifts for my dear ones. Ah well. A few are on order, and the rest ~ I'll figure it out.
