jw1776 harvested potatoes Sunday - mostly purples, which is odd. He planted mostly whites. I picked up a few plants for "difficult" spots in the front yard at on Sunday: a lavender for the NW corner of the yard, and a part-shade called "false heather" to go between the hostas on the mostly-shady side of the mound. I also planted the rest of my nasturtium seeds as a "cover crop" in the front potato bed today. It seems odd to be planting in August, but it feels like a good time: temperatures are mild (highs around 70F) and there's precipitation most days....
I'm looking forward to getting back to riding the bus (and walking between buses ;) regularly.
