Feeling better today...
Nov. 11th, 2002 03:16 pmI did take a hot steamy shower before bed and am drinking lots of liquids today. It was probably an allergy reaction, but I don't know for sure.
Jess unpacked & rearranged books today. Still more to do, but hey - we've found Narcissis In Chains. ;) I spent an hour alphabetizing the paperbacks, then fled the room before I got the urge to catagorize & alphabetize the non-fiction, humor, and CDs...
We're getting the condo listed this week (finally). Repair work and other assorted problems really suck, especially when the problems have drama built-in. I know, if I don't want drama then don't be a drama queen. But. Sometimes drama happens, damn it.
Which leads to the idle thought: if someone in my life brings a lot of fun, insight, *and* drama...at what point (if any) does the drama kill the relationship? How long do I deal with the drama?
Anyway.
The crowd across the street (and, I assume,
dianthus and
dustin_00) is currently experiencing a DSL blip, so
tshar is over here doing homework. I hope it's fixed soon...in the meantime, I expect our house will become popular...
I'm making lasagna, originally because
jenkitty requested it but now because, well, I'd already started thinking about it, it sounds tasty, and it's already started. (
jenkitty wants to avoid whatever I've got, in case it isn't an allergy.) Or rather,
jw1776 has diced & sliced veggies and the hamburger (organic, from my mother-in-law) is mostly thawed. Hm. Maybe I should go exert some effort here...
