I just picked 6 icons to talk about :)

My default icon features Faye from Questionable Content sitting at her boss's laptop. In some ways I see Faye as my smarter, svelter alter ego. Since I am often sitting at my laptop when I'm posting, this works on many levels. :)

"No-one's sane behind their mask" is a quote from vixyish's song The Girl That's Never Been, which in turn was inspired by The Cheshire. One day this line just grabbed me with an image of a harlequin mask sitting on a table ... with the implication that I might prefer the mask to go back on. I like it because I feel that we all have those days or things which make us just a wee bit unhinged...

Mo, from Dykes To Watch Out For, with her "subvert the dominant paradigm" sign. Because I only look straight, vanilla & innocent. :)

"I love you — I am at rest with you — I have come home." More and more I find my home is as much about people as a place. The quote is from Busman's Honeymoon by Dorothy Sayers; icon by queensjoy.

This icon of me was created for our intranet at work. I was joking with Catherine when she took the photo, and then she made it look like I was in a "shiny white room". And I think she removed a chin or two. ;)
