for the curious...

Thanksgiving happened. We invited over my parents' and
jw1776's. It was the first time any of the parents had seen the new house *AND* the first time my mom-in-law had seen a home of mine or ours.
I'm still processing that...I think that's part of why I've spent so much of today vegging. There's likely some avoidance there too. (Me? Yep ;)
Friday we had a leftovers & game day. Lots of friends came by, and I reveled in the ability to turn off the mental censor I'd used Thursday and just talk about whatever came to mind. I also was blessed with many hugs and laughs from
wolfieboy, V & J, Chris, Sue, LA & family,
runnerwolf,
k_crow,
sar_anon,
dianthus,
dustin_00,
tshar, and others who I'm not sure I should post about. We ended the day by watching the LoTR "easter eggs" and Daria's "Is It College Yet?".
Thanks to everyone who made it a great day.
