How to take a bath
Jan. 14th, 2003 10:22 amThis started as a reply to
buzzwords, but I thought it worth putting here.
This should result in a warm tub that helps all your muscles relax.

- Shut the bathroom door and turn on the heat lamp (if you have one). This keeps warmth in the bathroom.
- Unless the house is warmer than 80 degrees, start with *hot* water. Just a tad bit hotter than you can stand, actually. The tub will usually be cold, so it will usually cool the water off a bit.
- Put a towel by the tub to dry off your hands, and a bath sheet for when you're done. If you like to read, fold a book in a towel by the tub. Music is good too.
- If you have the opportunity...have a large hot water heater. When I bought a new-construction home, I had them install a soaking tub that would hold me &

- Don't forget to bring in something to drink.
